The past week has been a truly exciting time. Firstly, me and Dear Dear went about searching for a contractor for our house renovation. Turned out the one we decided upon was really nice and quoted quite reasonable price. We actually bargained with him, showing him another quote which was at a lower price. Ha. Still, we can see that we had a good deal. Really excited that out renovation is starting soon! Hopefully by year end, we would be able to see our house nicely done up!
Second, we went to Orchard Hotel to take a look at the wedding banquet package. They had a promotion earlier this month, and we thought we missed it. Ha. The sales person offered us the same promotion and we got a $699 off plus lotsa perks! It doesn't end there. The hotel organized a lucky draw for couples who signed up the packages with them. We are the last one to sign up and guess what, we ended up with a first prize of a pair of return air tickets to Seoul Korea and 3d2n stay at millennium Seoul Hilton values at $45oo! Thank God! Dear Dear really can prophesy when she said "the last shall be the first" minutes before the draw! Haha!
