I am in office now.. hehee Have been here for 2 mths le!!Time flies man.. really thank God that these 2 mths passed smoothly. I realised i had never blogged about my new job and my new colleagues. Let me tok a bit here..
My new job- Business unit controller (sounds cool ya?)-- Generating pnl everyday.. analysing difference. I think my bosses r really nice ppl. They give me few things at a time. Thus, I can still manage at the moment. Just tt I dun have any banking experience, a lot of terms and work n systems are v v diff from audit. I am still learning.. hoping to grab the ropes real soon:)
My colleagues are nice ppl.. I worked under a pretty and sweet lady-- my mentor. Personally i feel that she is a quiet person who wont intiate to tok to u.. as in she needs time to warm herself up.. not the super frenly type. hehe but I am still thankful; that she had been really patient wif me.. despite me asking the same question so many times and bombarding her wif really stupid question and even excel stuff.. kaoz.. now i realise how sheltered we r in dt with our dear AS2, which seems to make our life so much easier! Anywae, my mentor had been v understanding n kind n patient. hehe thou she can be really quiet at times, she is still a very kind n good natured ger. Hope that I can know her better:)
My big boss, bp, is a very nice guy too.. a 40yr old uncle. hehhe but seriously, i think for his age, he looks young and is quite good looking too..hehehe i regret telling this to my colleagues.. they had been teasing me over this! anyway this boss of mine ahd been very understanding, mild tempered too..I feel so fortunate to have him as my boss:)
However, i still feel that i am unabl;e to click v well wif the ppl here.. since they had already established so gd frenship amg themselves. i mean of course, they r kind enuf to let me join them for lunch.. but at times, i still dunno wat to tok to them.. feel a bit awkward.. i pray n hope time can make us closer n i am able to get along better wif them! Nevertheless, i still miss my clique in deloitte.. my kakhis.. miss them so much!! When r we meeting up for dinner again?? ahaha must it really be somebody's last day then will we meet up? hehe:)
