Went to church for the first time after a month or more due to my busy work schedule. Before Pst Kong started preaching today, a special guest from Taiwan appeared to perform on stage today! He's Taiwan singer cum actor- Liu Gen Hong. Not very popular, only know he's Jay Chou and Xiao Zhu's best fren! He sang a song bout Jesus and shared how God entered into his life and impacted his life entirely! From someone who goes after material achievement to a person who is so refreshed and looked forward to shining in the marketplace for Jesus! From his eyes and the excitement in his speech, I am greatly touched- Touched by God can be so true to create miracles and turn impossibility into possibility! Liu Gen Hong is so on fire and excited about Jesus! He even shared about him bringing Ah Mei and Jay Chou to church few weeks back! He's making an impact in the marketplace! Praise the Lord!
When I got back home after service, Mum asked me to help her take photo for her new passport application. Hehe, as Mum dislikes taking photo, we got a hard time trying to get the best pose and smile from her. She's simply so nervous! Wahaha!! She kept giggling away!! After taking more than 10 shots, we finally decided on a pic for her passport!
Seriously, this is the first time after many many years i took such a close up photo on her. It was only now then I realise she is aging :( All becos of us:( She sacrificed all her youth for us.. she hardly goes out. She hardly spends. She puts us first before herself. I wonder when's the last time she goes to Orchard. I doubt I m willing to sacrifice as much as her when I become a mother in future. I respect her for that!
